First Generation (D/W Series - as Dodge Ram): 1981-1993. Second Generation (BR/BE - as Dodge Ram): 1994-2001. Third Generation (DR/DH/D1/DC/DM - as Dodge Ram): 2002-2008. Fourth Generation (DS - as Ram 1500; "Classic" in later years): 2009-2018 (continued as "Classic" alongside 5th Gen until 2024 in some markets, including Australia until December 2024 for V8). Fifth Generation (DT - as Ram 1500): 2019-Present (Australian remanufacturing began June 2018 for DS, and May 2021 for DT.
