TRAILER SWAY CONTROL (TSC) Sensors in the vehicle recognize an excessively swaying trailer and will take the appropriate actions to attempt to stop the sway. The system will activate automatically once excessive trailer movement is recognized.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP (ACC STOP) Maintains a driver-selected set distance from vehicles in the lane ahead. When slower traffic is detected, Ram 1500 automatically adjusts its speed all the way down to 0 km/h, even with a trailer attached.
FORWARD COLLISION WARNING (FCW) WITH ACTIVE BRAKING Notifies the driver when the vehicle gets too close to a preceding vehicle. If the driver isn’t braking enough, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking automatically takes over, dramatically increasing braking when over 50 km/h (31 mph) and even helping to come to a full stop under 50 km/h (31 mph). The system also works with attached trailers and will engage the trailer brakes.
PEDESTRIAN AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING (PAEB) This smart system uses information from forward sensors to detect a pedestrian in the vehicle’s path. If a collision with a pedestrian appears imminent, PAEB will help provide automatic braking if the driver has not acted to avoid a crash.
