Wiesmann was founded in Germany in 1988 by brothers Friedhelm and Martin Wiesmann. They produced hand-built, retro-styled sports cars with powerful BMW engines, emphasizing classic design and modern performance. Known for their gecko logo, Wiesmann cars offered a unique blend of old-school charm and contemporary engineering. After facing financial difficulties, the brand has seen revivals under new ownership.
