Daimler Motor Company, founded in 1896 in the UK, licensed German Daimler engine technology. Known for luxury vehicles, it supplied cars to British royalty. Separate from Daimler-Benz of Germany, the brand eventually became part of Jaguar. Though the Daimler name faded, its legacy endures in British motoring history and prestige.

Sovereign

The Daimler Sovereign, produced from 1966 to 1994, was a luxury saloon based on Jaguar models, offering refined styling, smooth performance, and traditional British elegance. The Daimler Sovereign name being transferred to the high-specification version of the Series III Jaguar XJ6 in 1983.
