The new Type R is the fastest yet, powered by a potent 2 litre, VTEC turbo-charged engine that generates 329 PS and peak torque of 420Nm. Every component is refined and perfected to achieve maximum agility and performance.

It may be uncompromisingly powerful, but it’s also unquestionably responsive, providing you with a driving experience you can truly feel, thanks to its precise 6-speed manual transmission and 4 selectable driving modes. These change the engine, steering and suspension set-ups to suit the driving experience you require: from Comfort, Sport, to track-focused +R and Individual, which allows you to customise your favourite settings.

A clever Honda LogR performance datalogger further enhances your driving experience, by monitoring and recording on-track performance and providing in-depth analysis on the centrally mounted, 9” Honda CONNECT infotainment screen.

When you are not listening to the soundtrack of the engine, you can enjoy your own playlists thanks to the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration with playback over eight speakers. Naturally, wireless phone charging is fitted as standard and able to accommodate the largest of devices.

With this top-of-the-line Carbon Wing Spoiler, you can really personalise and amplify the aesthetic of your car. The spoiler is hand-made out of carbon fibre and features a red accent. This spoiler is a must-have feature for your Type R.

CARBON CENTRE CONSOLE PANEL
Style and extreme sport come together in the ‘cockpit’ of your car with the Carbon Centre Console Panel. This hand-made carbon accent on the centre console of your car gives it that bit of extra dash.

Illumination Pack.

This Illumination Pack combines interior and exterior illumination items. The pack includes: Front Foot and Under Seat Lights, Door Lining Illuminations, a Cup Holder and Console Illumination to create an ambient atmosphere inside your car. Along with the Illuminated Type R Pattern Projector, these items provide greater visibility in and around your car.

CUP HOLDER AND CONSOLE ILLUMINATION
By turning on the ignition and headlights, the bottom of the cup holders and the storage box in the centre console become illuminated, bringing a sporty red ambient atmosphere to the interior of your car.

FRONT FOOT AND UNDER SEAT LIGHTS
When unlocking the doors, the area under the seat and the complete front footwell are illuminated with a sporty red light. When driving with the headlights on, the light output is dimmed by 50% to avoid distraction. When the headlights are off, the illumination lights are switched off as well.

ILLUMINATED TYPE R PATTERN PROJECTOR
The Type R pattern is projected on the ground with a bright white and red glow when opening the front doors, creating more visibility in the dark when getting in and out of your car.

DOOR LINING ILLUMINATIONS
When turning on the ignition, the door lining becomes illuminated. The Red Door Lining Illuminations are fitted to the front door handles and door pockets, and emit a sporty red light.
