The visual punch of the new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is matched only by the thrill of the driving experience. The track-ready performance of the upgraded 5.0L V8 powertrain and Shelby 6-speed manual transmission is expertly paired with unique chassis settings and ride upgrades. More responsive and engaging, the Mach 1 pushes the limits without pushing the driver.

Wheels. The exclusive dark-painted alloys are a modern take on the original’s Magnum 500 wheels and highlight the colour-coded Brembo brake calipers.
The Mustang Mach 1 delivers race-inspired performance that both flatters the novice and rewards the expert driver.
Performance powertrain. Mustang’s iconic Coyote 5.0-litre V8 is upgraded with a Shelby GT350 intake for 345kW of power and 550Nm of torque, announced via Mach 1’s Active Exhaust and Selectable Drive Modes.
Competition-ready chasis. Bespoke steering, MagneRide® suspension with stiffer sway bars and front springs, and a rear subframe using stiffer bushings and a Shelby GT500 rear toe-link combine for precise handling.
Underbody aero. An underbody pan smooths and increases airflow under Mach 1, increasing downforce and brake cooling flow – a first for Mustang.
Exhaust and Diffuser. Unique active exhaust tuning features 4.5-inch quad exhaust tips, perforated to enhance sound quality.
Make your Mach. Fender, bonnet and boot are stamped with the unique marque.
Transmission. Mach 1 boasts choice of the Shelby GT350’s TR-3160 manual or an upgraded 10-speed paddleshift automatic, with unique calibration for enhanced performance.
An exclusive inclusion only with the Fighter Jet Gray paint option, the pack includes unique black and orange hood and side stripes, orange brake calipers, and orange seatback accents.
The Mach 1 was introduced in 1969 as a bridge between the Mustang GT and SVT Cobra and Shelby models. It quickly became its own legend, earning a permanent place in Mustang performance lore.
