1979 Datsun 280ZX.

The Datsun 280ZX can be counted among the ranks of highly exclusive Grand Tourismos, both for its styling and for its almost unbelievable level of standard equipment. A robust 2.8-liter six-cylinder engine, equipped with electronically controlled fuel injection, provides the propulsion for this flagship model in the Datsun range.

Four independently suspended wheels with light-alloy rims are fitted with very wide 195/70 radial tires. The equipment specification is exceptionally generous, ranging from a stereo cassette player to a “check panel” that allows the driver to monitor at a glance whether systems such as the lighting, cooling system, brakes, and more are functioning correctly. A well-balanced power steering system assists in controlling this thoroughbred.

The Datsun 280ZX is available as a two-seater or as a 2+2 version with a five-speed manual transmission, while the 2+2 model is also available with an automatic transmission.
