The Charade GTI invites you to a world of fun — in the city, over the mountains, or along the motorway. A 1.6-litre 16-valve EFI engine pumps out 77.0 kW (105 ps) of power, with ample torque at all levels and a smooth, sure response from low engine speeds right to the 6,500-rpm red zone. Ventilated disc brakes in the front and solid disc brakes in the rear support the superb driving performance. The uniform-length driveshaft boasts top linear stability. The front stabilizer minimizes roll, while upper and lower braces boost suspension rigidity. These combine for CHARADE a superb cornering performance.
