This handsome multi-colour interior for V 100 Sedans harmonizes beautifully with any colour Valiant you should choose, wears well, cleans easily.

This is one of the many beautiful interior combinations available in the V 200 series. Fabric and trim are easily cleaned and long-wearing. Seat material is made of nylon-viscose fabrics, bolsters and door trims are a combination of smooth grained vinyl.

GREATEST ENGINE IN THE COMPACT FIELD One of the biggest points of difference between other compact cars and the Valiant is this agile, 6-cylinder engine—101 horsepower with a displacement of 170 cubic inches and a compression ratio of 8.2 to 1. It's different, too, because it's slanted 30 degrees to reduce the engine height, to eliminate waste space under the hood, and to permit a highly efficient manifold system. How efficient? Well, you get top performance and top economy too! Without a doubt, the Valiant inclined "Six" is the finest in the compact field.

RUSTPROOFING Bodies are actually immersed six times for special cleaning, rinsing, and rust-proofing treatments. This is the one-piece, solid Unibody from Chrysler Corporation, welded into an integral, girder-like, fortress that practically eliminates every kind of squeak, rattle or groan

TORSION-AIRE SUSPENSION A special version of Chrysler Corporation's famous Torsion-AIRE suspension gives Valiant the type of ride and handling ease you'd expect from cars that cost up to twice as much. This remarkable system of torsion bars, ball joints, Oriflow shock absorbers, and asymmetrical leaf springs smooths out bumps, helps prevent dips and sways and assures greater stability on curves.

NEW CHRYSLER BUILT ALTERNATORThe Chrysler designed and built alternator replaces the conventional generator as an optional equipment item. It contributes materially to performance and economy because it assures a high charging rate at low engine speed and keeps charging the battery in slow congested city traffic and other adverse driving conditions, thus ensuring longer battery life.

DELUXE STEERING WHEEL WITH HORN BAR This deluxe steering wheel is optional equipment on V 100 model only. Horn ring is standard on V 200 model.

WHITEWALL TIRES Optional whitewall tires add dramatic finishing touch to the classic Valiant design. Available on all models.
