The MGS5 EV enhances your audio experience with Digital Radio (DAB+) and a well-engineered 6-speaker system*. The MGS5 EV offers adaptable and comfortable interiors. The Excite features practical fabric seats for daily use. For added luxury, the Essence boasts premium upholstery and a captivating panoramic sunroof, creating a light and spacious feel. Practicality is enhanced by 40:60 split rear seats, allowing flexible passenger and cargo configurations. Enjoy a generous 453L of boot space, expanding significantly to 1441L with the rear seats folded, providing ample room for diverse needs.

Dynamic Driving.

With the arrival of the MGS5 EV, there’s a newfound harmony between driver and road. Each bend and flex of the asphalt reveals a thoughtful calibration in its dynamics – it just flows. Choose between the 49kWh or 62kWh batteries, offering ranges of 410km and 515km (NEDC) respectively. DC rapid charging allows for 30–80% battery replenishment in under 20 minutes, minimising downtime. Furthermore, its V2L capability enables the vehicle to power external devices – a genuinely convenient feature when out and about.

The driving dynamics have undergone significant refinement and improvement. Built upon the Modular Scalable Platform, like the MG4, the MGS5 EV features calibrated MacPherson five-link suspension tailored for the nuances of electric vehicle handling. Furthermore, its rear-wheel drive (RWD) system intelligently distributes power to the rear wheels, enhancing acceleration, particularly on inclines. RWD also contributes to greater stability in corners by reducing understeer and body roll, ultimately providing the driver with enhanced confidence.

With both AC and DC charging capabilities, the MGS5 EV guarantees an efficient and reliable charging experience, whether it’s at home or on the go. Use your MGS5 EV as a portable battery pack with the Vehicle to Load (V2L) function, straight from the charge port. Conveniently power your electronics on the go and see real time display of discharge information across the digital screen.

Excite 49

EV range of 415km (NEDC) and 340km (WLTP), with 0–100km/h achieved in 8 seconds and rear-wheel drive (RWD) delivering a balanced driving experience. Features include LED daytime running lights, a 10.25” virtual driver information display, MG iSMART connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and an electronic parking brake supported by the MG Pilot safety suite with reverse camera. Interior comfort is supported by a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, satellite navigation, and a PU steering wheel, while practicality is enhanced with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality and a 750kg towing capacity. Additional features include 17” all-black alloy wheels, keyless entry, a 4-speaker audio system, and electrically adjustable, heated door mirrors.

Excite 62

In addition to Excite 49, the Excite 62 extends capability with an EV range of 515km (NEDC) and 430km (WLTP), while achieving 0–100km/h in 8.2 seconds.

Essence 49

EV range of 410km (NEDC) and 335km (WLTP), with 0–100km/h achieved in 8.2 seconds and rear-wheel drive (RWD) delivering a balanced driving experience. Features include LED daytime running lights, a 10.25” virtual driver information display, MG iSMART connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, an electronic parking brake, and the MG Pilot safety suite supported by a 360° HD camera. Interior comfort is enhanced with a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, satellite navigation, a heated leather steering wheel, heated front seats, and a 6-speaker audio system. Additional premium features include an electronic panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, rear privacy glass, rain-sensing wipers, electrically adjustable, folding and heated door mirrors, rear reading light, keyless entry, 18” alloy wheels, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, 750kg towing capacity, and a power tailgate with one-foot kick operation.

Essence 62

In addition to Essence 49, the Essence 62 further extends capability with an EV range of 515km (NEDC) and 425km (WLTP), while achieving 0–100km/h in 8.6 seconds.
